Who we are

ARI AI, operated at teleari.com, provides an automated receptionist service that answers calls and text messages for businesses. This policy covers both the businesses that subscribe to ARI and the customers who call or text a business that uses ARI.

What we collect

For business accounts: your name, email address, company name, and the knowledge, greetings and rules you configure for your receptionist. For callers and texters interacting with a business that uses ARI: the phone number used, the contents of the call or text conversation including transcripts, and details shared during the conversation such as a name or callback number. Payment details for subscriptions are collected and processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.

How we use it

We use this information for one purpose: operating the receptionist service. That means answering conversations with the business's approved information, recording conversation history so the business can serve its customers, measuring usage for billing, and keeping the service secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use conversation content to advertise to anyone.

AI processing

Conversations handled by ARI are processed by artificial intelligence to generate responses. Conversation content is sent to our AI and telephony providers only as needed to operate the service, under agreements that restrict their use of the data to providing that service.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers to run ARI: telephony and messaging carriage, AI response generation, database and authentication hosting, web hosting, and payment processing (Stripe). Each receives only the data needed for its function.

Retention

Conversation records are retained for as long as the related business account remains active, so the business keeps its customer history. When an account closes, its data is deleted on request or per our standard cleanup schedule.

Your choices

Callers and texters can opt out of messages at any time by replying STOP, as described in our Messaging Terms. Business account holders can edit or delete their configured content at any time and can request account deletion by contacting us. If you contacted a business that uses ARI and want your conversation data removed, contact that business or write to us and we will coordinate.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by per-business isolation at the database level, and provider webhooks are cryptographically verified.
